Hello!
We are so happy you have found our little corner of the internet. We are a family of four living in the great plains of the Midwest. With a large extended family and multiple kids, we frequently find ourselves in need of a gift.
Over the years, while looking for the perfect present for a birthday, graduation, anniversary or just because—we often spent hours searching online and reading reviews, only to ultimately settle for something ho-hum simply because we had run out of time and needed *something* for our friend or loved one to open.
The internet is a big place, and there are products everywhere. How do you find a unique and interesting gift at the right price without spending hours searching?
This is how GiftCurious was born. We noticed that there were very few personalized gift guides and no websites totally devoted to gift giving in all its glory. The gift guides we did see were generic, included pricey presents, or simply didn’t seem trustworthy. Eek.
Our gift guides focus on specific people and occasions, many of which seem to be left out of mainstream lists—people who like to bowl, moms turning 50, left-handed people, men who think way too much about the Roman Empire. It’s these interests and qualities that make people their unique selves and we want to celebrate that. Our gift guides highlight distinctive gifts, all of which have excellent reviews.
In addition to gift guides, we are excited to feature blogs about all things gift giving, including product reviews, etiquette questions, and hot topics, like, “When can I stop buying so many gifts for my extended family?” We feature guest writers who bring in their own perspectives—including our kids!
In other words, we’ve combed through the vast internet and brought only the best to you.
